PrettyTrophies is a mobile app for iOS and Android that shows the games and trophies on a given PlayStation account. It started life as a Xamarin project; this version is a full rewrite in React Native with Expo, paired with a fresh .NET Core 3 API I wrote to replace the earlier PHP backend.
The rewrite was as much a design exercise as an engineering one — I redesigned the UI in Adobe Xd, moved from a tab-based layout to a feed-first layout, and simplified the auth flow to a single PSN login. The design language was loosely inspired by Discord — dark, flat, high-contrast chips for status, a playful use of accent color for rare trophies.
The app was built as a showcase for the degree program I was in at the time; it is not published to the stores.
